cars are almost a necessity in today’s society. guns are not.

I once got into a Facebook debate with a friend (former, now) over the function of guns. He swore up and down that guns were not designed to kill people, but were, in fact, works of art and engineering, once meant only for hunting animals, but now collected by admirers of form and function.

Cars serve a primary function besides death/injury. Guns...not so much.

I do miss the wolves. I think I can live with that compromise.
