This whole idea is like selling a $20 Waygu beef burger at McDonalds. With VW, they, at least , have the $45-60k Touareg under the Phaeton. If you're in the market for a $50k vehicle, $70k is not that much further away.

That luxury brand buying experience will never come from a Kia dealership. Only

Dear God... fuck the Miata.

Small turbos, plus 31psi spike = 375lb/ft tq

People who haven't been to new model press ride and drives don't know how prick-teasey they are. How was the catering?

I've rented the last-gen F150 with the Coyote (all 2WD) three times in the last two years. With some light <500lbs hauling, highway, and city driving, I averaged 17.5MPG each time. That is calculating manually, and not by the trip computer. So, it's not THAT impressive. Not as impressive as the weight reduction.

True. Lowering module is where it's at.

The ABC pump is not that bad, relatively speaking. But, when allllll the pieces of the pump internals end up in the ABC lines, valves, etc., you're completely screwed. The whole system has to come apart, get flushed, and cleaned. We see more issues with CLs than any others, however.

hahahahaha

I hate the shitty rubber speed bumps Chicago has been installing in alleys. I'd scrape the front subframe all the time when I had my E46 Coupe.

Dear Cadillac,

Could be, simply, an R-line golf estate.

I fucked up here. M177 in C63. DOH

aint that the truth

Not the same engine. :)

Edit for clarification:
E63 uses the M157 5.5L bi-turbo motor.
C63 will use the M178 4.0L bi-turbo motor.

It's a shame when they do. As we know well, if it's even remotely showing signs of head gasket failure, it's time to stop driving it. And, I'd love to swap the drivetrain into a 94-95 W124 wagon. And, there are a few conversions using the 190E 16V Cosworth dog-leg 5MT.

Yesssir.

You're also the person who suggested this:
"Saturn might be the best American brand ever."

That might be The Most Incorrect Suggestion, Ever.

That said, my neighbor has an Edsel for sale, if you're interested.

Write to the NHTSA (who does all the CAFE crap) and all the tax lawmakers in the ROW with your complaints.

Or, tell them to a flagpole. You'll receive the same response.

Yup.

"Not much else is known right now, except that the car will get a seven-speed automatic, presumably the dual clutch gearbox in the CLA45"

Probably not, as it's for transverse engines. Seeing the AMG Speedshift MCT in this application would be more likely until the next gen 9-speed, in a high-torque capacity, is
