Normally Musk would go all out to attack anyone who said such things about his cash cow, but Musk knows that Trump is blowing shit and won’t actually do anything about EVs when he’s in office, so Musk just lets it go.

What did he do to stop them when he was president? Same thing he would do if he wins again. Nothing. He doesn’t really care. He’s just attacking windmills again to rile up his base. And since he would be in a second term, you can sure bet he will not do a damn thing in a second term to help anyone but himself. 

You gotta understand that Trump says equally absurd things literally all the time, but hardly any republican voters seem to care.

Honestly not far off. Think of how easy it will be to have these just folded up in your hand, with the light covered with tape or something, and holding it in such a way as to get an “upskirt” shot or something. People try this with phones already, but much more difficult to get away with since phones are more obvious.

A small white light that can easily be overlooked or just covered up.

But you also cannot record constantly 24/7 with these. You still need to activate the camera. This may save you a couple of seconds tops. And that is only if you’re wearing these sunglasses literally all the time. In many cases pulling your phone out of your pocket that is always on you will be faster than wondering…

Difference is that it is very easy to tell if someone i recording you with a gopro or phone. With these a person can do it without anyone knowing, and it would be easy to cover the light.

I don’t get how speakers not in your ear can be completely silent to a person next to you when I can hear in-ear buds of someone next to me. Unless it bone conduction I don’t believe it.

Wonder if this will open up a market for lasers to shine at their cameras and ruin the sensors.

Yeah this threw me off as well. I always assumed the ground the tracks are on plus some amount on either side had to be owned by the railroad of government and would be subject to any applicable laws.
