Volt IS NOT a hybrid. It’s pure electric - ICE only when your out of juice, or you place the battery on “HOLD” or “Mountain” mode. (Gen1 Owner going on 25K+)

Not even close to the true....fire your accountant! It’s a $7500 credit - if you don’t owe then they will send you a check. I never owe on my taxes and last year when I claimed my 2015 Gen1 Volt I got twice the return I usually do. A credit is like a balance - not contingent on a certain set of criteria.
