Fact check: Generally tires with less than 50 aspect ratio are considered low profile tires.

Like anything in life, if you’re complaining about it too much and see too many negatives, it is just not for you. I know there are others out there whom want this, Zero is betting there are enough of those people to keep a business running, and only time will tell.

Yeah, I have seen some of that and it is crazy. The women on here really take some heat. One would hope to see better, helpful comments on here, but that is not always the case :(

I find all the responses a little bit off topic when I stand back and take a look at the whole picture. What does Tom say in the article? He sites evidence (journalistic reporting) of a practice that some dealerships are actually using. He then proceeds to discuss how the practice could be applied by a hypothetical dea

Yes the dealership would have to lie. If you think people have a problem with lying than obviously you do not know the current president of the USA. Not all dealerships are scumbags, but for a estimated once a month problem as detailed by the WSJ article, 1 lie a month to boost sales 1 car is totally plausible. People

It sounds like you understand that sometimes the buyer is not a fault(5~10%) but you think that the media is not showing enough “Tough love.” You want Tom to outright say these buyers have been stupid, and now they are crying for someone to fix it. What Tom has said is that if people instead of taking what they are

Sounds like a typical bad car. Too much story with not enough evidence behind it. I wouldn’t be surprised if the car had over 120k miles.

I would stay away from a Cobalt IMHO. Reliability on those is definitely not on Acura level by farrrrrr

WD-40 is not a lubricant. Common misconception.

A 2006 Hyundai Azera with all the options and 200k miles on KBB is valued at Private Party Range $1,733 - $3,310, and  Trade-in Range $301 - $834 in NYC. Depending on where he went for the estimate on fixing everything, I can totally see the repairs exceeding the value of the car. I have seen people leave shops with

if they bought over the 260 hp awd car with no ac and manual windows, it had no SRS airbags except for driver and passenger, the only safety tech was government mandated rear camera, the “back seats” gave people lifelong back problems, the trunk was corolla hatch sized, the interior was made from 1983 corolla plastic

I was actually just wondering this myself the other day. On the forums it seems that many people have taken notice. Here in NY i do see some on the road, but I see a lot more of the same ones on the floor. With prices like these, what does that mean for buying one CPO or used?

I hope he didn’t go there... They have been involved with some shady issues, including predatory lending

Look, the regular Honda E already makes 152 horsepower and it’s tiny. Why do we need more power? Why does it need harsher suspension, bigger brakes and more aggressive, angular styling

Honda Civic starts at $21k? obvioiusly that’s before taxes and fees. And probably no one buys a base civic.....

They don’t have money for EV’s, or sports cars, but they do have money for flying cars. Kind of a disappointment
