Your story reflects my college experience.  Not enough stars for you!

She apparently did not read that the British Empire (may I say “the original wypipo”?) attempted to outlaw slavery in 1807 (at least in the Colonies), a full 58 years before Americans. Though if you want to get technical about it, it was officially ended in 1833. Americans were late to the party.

Consumers organizing and giving feedback is one thing, but giving feedback as a mob shouting expletives in every other sentence and being general fucking assholes is another. If you’re giving feedback constructively and diplomatically, that’s fine— but make no mistake, in this regard we’re talking about gamers who act

I get what you’re saying, but doing so the way you posted isn’t going to win over anyone on their side of the fence. In any argument, discussion or debate, insulting the other party does more to build up a wall than build a bridge.

I would have phrased it like this:
“Look, I understand that you believe your ‘chivalry’

I can agree with the zealotry of the mullahs in the east, but you should recognize that not all Muslims follow the same leaders, just as not all Christians follow theirs.

There are peaceful followers of Islam; some are friends who are adjusting just fine in America.

The problem are folks who group them all into one

1856 is hardly “several hundred” years.

Also, a considerable number of religious conservatives today in the deep south still believe that slavery was a boon to African Americans.

It’s not in my interest to dissuade you from religion, if that’s a component of your psyche. However, trying to say that one religion is

“Grew up”? Hardly. The Bible is still the same, its followers continue to translate and reinterpret its passages however they like, and it still leads to bigoted senses of righteousness.

An excerpt on Slavery from Robert E. Lee to his wife below.

Ghostbusters, to my mind, wasn’t supposed to be *that* funny. It was meant to be part horror film rolled into funny. The part where Wilson and Ray are in the ghostmobile, talking about the End Times, for example, offered a really chilling moment in an otherwise funny movie. Genuinely spooky moments mixed in with the

Another hint:

I’ll give you a hint, by the way:

It’s fairer to ask yourself “How many muslims practice what you’re accusing them of?”  You’re lumping everyone of that faith in the same boat.  If I’m wrong, then you’re wrong in trying to state the equivalent “How many Christians currently practice that?”  Oh, so suddenly I can’t lump the Christians murdering

Sure, let’s look at that. Though instead of the last 100 years, it’s fairer to look at the last five hundred.

I know of a crapton of Catholic priests getting away with having their way with little kids and getting away with it— does that count?

For the record-- I’m not religious, so don’t think I’m playing favorites here.  But you’re not making a very good point.  You’re choosing to make an example of religious extremists in

Not surprised! I made my reply because I don’t think the Kotaku blogger did enough research. Your addition to the conversation only confirms it, I think.

Hey, if it gets your rocks off, I’m happy for you. Everyone should be happy (unless it harms people/kids, but that’s another subject left for different discussion).

Actually, not so shocked, but glad it titillates someone. To each their own; I’m fine with that. I had a (ex) girlfriend who was really into yayoi and she tried to share it with me— while I could appreciate the art it didn’t do anything for me. So long as she was happy (and it didn’t harm me), I was fine with it.

A friend showed me some Overwatch porn (mostly for shock value), and I gotta say I disagree with some of your findings. There is a fair amount of Zarya, though it seems like she’s featured with male parts. There tends to be a lot of “futa” that pleases... well, I’m not sure who it pleases, but to say it’s all

I’d wager it was a bear— just not a bear bear. I’m thinking more San Francisco bearded hairy biker-type bear. Those guys are the friendliest people on the planet who really know how to give the warmest hugs.

On a replay I got Colin to be reunited with his mother, but dead in his “present”.  By far the happier of the endings, imho.

I was going to agree/support the Blues Brothers, but then I saw your post and it rekindled distant, prepubescent memories of my sister and I singing endlessly along to Dolly Parton’s 9 to 5, driving our parents crazy. So for me, I might just be there with you. Of course, it was the *only* song of the movie I
