I used to love the Druid quest line for Sea Lion form, the cut above for speedy sea lion form, and flight form. Then Blizzard made those quests obscenely easy to do. I don’t know where I was going with this, but as a retired WoW Druid, I find myself on a lawn, yelling at all the young druids to get off of it.

I disagree, I find that if it were up to private institutions (i.e. banks and corporations) a measure of racist practices find their way in. Compound these practices over generations, and that causes the disparity of wealth. Government is only there to provide oversight and law.

In my humble opinion, I don’t think the

I felt no disrespect, no worries.

I’ll admit, you have a point in grouping Chinese, Japanese, Koreans et al under one term isn’t perfect, but if you have to do it, use the term Asian. It’s in the same manner you might describe a grouping of various countries in Europe (i.e. “European countries”) rather than their

I’ll pick it up on Amazon.  Thanks for the recommendation!

Our neighborhoods were never redlined (or were less so over other minorities). Gerrymandering didn’t affect us too much because we had lighter skin. Our lighter skin also does not create an immediate bias from law enforcement.

I believe family associations tended to help my forefathers quite a bit. Family associations

As well, please find the title of the book. I’d be very interested to read it.

For the record, I’m Chinese American, so I’m an outsider to all this. Looking from the outside in and viewing the corresponding evidence, however, I have a hard time sympathizing with the white view on things.

That said, any evidence to

Blacks “TODAY” might have it differently than their counterparts even a decade or two ago, but when you consider generational wealth (wealth passed down from one generation to the next), Black Americans have considerably less than others.

When you consider running for political office as an activity that needs to be

Great! Please show me the numbers for that statement. I’d be happy to follow your reasoning as long as you show me proof. I’m not being condescending or patronizing here, but I like to follow logic and reason. Without proof, I can’t take your side. Also, pretty sure it’s not ALL of them since one of them kept

All races were enslaved at one point or another, sure, but we’re talking the USA here. If you’d like to make the case for white slaves as victims of some other civilization, please outline your point and provide the exact country and government responsible, as well as what reparations they deserve. Otherwise, it’s a

My favorite that comes to mind, because I could so relate at the time:

Oh my god. I haven’t played Overwatch since beta, but this is exactly the kind of character I would love to play. Dinky, destructive and adorably cute to the point of emasculating the toughs who want to play their over muscled bruisers. I’ll have to keep an eye on this...

Oooo. Gotta agree on the white pepper. I add that to my own. Definitely a must ingredient!

From my own heritage of making the stuff (Been making my own versions for a good three decades now), I would recommend trying it with oyster sauce rather than soy. Soy tends to be too salty, in my opinion, while the former adds a hint of sweetness and other flavors.

Glad you mentioned sesame oil— that’s an essential

From the article:
“In July 2017, police say they found Ades parked outside the victims home and that shortly after officers told her to leave the man began receiving threatening text messages from her.”

She began sending the threatening messages AFTER they told her to leave. Once the messages started, then yes, they

1. Not trying to troll. But I am trying to recognize the problems inherent in addressing other problems.

2. It is my understanding that psychology is not required, but an in depth knowledge of the law is.

Do any departments in the US actually teach something akin to psych 101? Or even the next level up? Saying that the police need to be responsible for something that they unlikely have any specialized training in is akin to asking a fast food worker to prepare you a steak, medium rare with gourmet fixings.

Though if

There are maybe six to eight squad cars dedicated to patrolling the areas between West Oakland and a stretch of the East. Diverting a patrol car to report a non emergency like coal grilling in the park when everyone else does it (I live a half mile from this location and drive by it regularly) is an absolute waste.

The

Same thing happened at my old work after 9/11. We had a Pakistani engineer and our CEO (of a fifteen person construction company) came into the office and berated him about how “his people” could do that. It was shameful and disgusting, especially considering how much the engineer sacrificed to come to the US to work

That and in other pre-accident photos it looks as though the tendon cables (I think they’re called? I’m not qualified to really explain them— all I know is that they help with compression) running through the bottom floor of the bridge haven’t been connected yet. That would also weaken the structure.

As you mentioned,

People need to realize that just because you’re “with” someone doesn’t mean you’re tied down to them. Break up with them and move on, goddammit.
