Not surprising. People act like you are some sort of killjoy for not liking it but its just relentless.

There was an article I read once about how every single female character or female character subplot the show added in that wasn’t in the book was either about prostitute or someone being raped. There’s definitely something very creepy going on with that show and I’m surprised it doesn’t get called out more often.

Just once, I’d like to see a movie with a plot about a woman seeking justice for the assault of someone she loves. Don’t even show the rape; have her experiencing a normal, happy day, and then get called down to the hospital because the victim had put her down as their emergency contact, and have her, and the…

And it gives the male hero a really cool motivation for cracking some skulls. The movie is about him after all.

Gotta break the ladies down right at the start of the film so 1/2 of the audience will understand they can have feelings and feel pain just like other humans!
