I have Windows based machines, I figured the screen capture was only at the phone resolution which is not terrible for most things. If I am shooting in 4k I want picture out of the video at that resolution.

You might have to pull it out into an editor to do that. Taking a screenshot with your phone will only take a picture at the resolution of your display itself (which happens to be 1920x1080, so you’d gain basically nothing by shooting in 4K). On an iPhone (6S Plus), what is the best way to get a picture out of the 4k (or any video) at full resolution? I did the screen capture (home plus power button at the same time) but not sure if there is a better way.
