Put the word “fan” in before the “and” and it makes perfect sense...

I can see where you’re coming from. I can only handle two sports at a time (“at a time” being all year). I was NFL/NHL for a while before I switched to NHL/MLB. I am a very happy Avs/Rox fan now.
