I don’t know why anyone who knows anything at all about Mike’s politics is either surprised or disappointed. “Let the police be the only people with guns” has never, ever been a talking point on the Black Left— like, you can’t hold the guy up for his radical politics and then disown him when he starts saying the exact

Van is so great, whenever she’s gone for a few episodes I want to see what happens to her in that time period — I loved her starring episode last season. More of those please.

Man that man was engineering for his life. That was so unexpected. I loved the episode though and the return of Van

They really did parody that Vince Staples “Norf Norf” crying mom video down to the last detail, and it was fucking glorious. Also got a good laugh out of the club DJ pointing out Earn’s corny Coca-Cola T-shirt. This show just keeps on knocking it out of the park.

I laughed my ass off at the entire strip club part. I didn’t think it could get any better. Then Mike Vick happened.

I feel like Phantom Thread isn’t gonna win anything, and I’m preemptively sad about it

I’ve been saying Jennifer Lawrence was robbed for at least a nomination since they were announced! Glad to see someone after my own heart.

The sight of Katt Williams running down the street, with his short little legs, at full blast, in a robe... was hilarious.

“No, she don’t live here. I’m just fuckin’ the bitch. That’s the deal. No homo.”

Sure, absolutely, yes, that would be Cool.

What if we were able to implant the idea that he COULD carry a movie right in the very core of your subconscious?

I absolutely adore Kaluuya’s performance in Get Out for exactly the kind of reasons that Dowd and Vishnevetsky talked about here. He brings a wonderful vulnerability to his role and layers it underneath a defensive wall when he’s with Rose’s family.
