That won’t happen though. The previous game (which they also worked on iirc) had forced online connectivity as well, and was a fairly poor experience due to bad netcode...

Altho the amount of anticipation generated for Elite Dangerous seems to pale in comparison to NMS. I’m a fan of space games and space sims, yet my awareness of the various games is (well, was) ranked as:

1. No Man’s Sky
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
2. Star Citizen
.
.
.
3. Elite: Dangerous

I own and love Elite Dangerous, but I barely heard

No, it’s on PC as well. For the consoles, it’s exclusive to PS4.

ummm.... This is already showing a coating of dust. What happened to that dry cloth you mentioned? Sure ended quickly :-X

That would be good to update in the article for clarity, I wondered the same thing. Also, I presume you played this on PS4? (due to reference to square button) Any idea if the PC has similar loading delays?

Seems almost like he’s a mix of Billy Zane + Nicholas Cage, as he’s got some major flops, as well as some good movies. But I think he has more flops than good. Checking his list on Rotten Tomatoes, less than half are fresh, and the bulk of the fresh ones are late 90s early 00s: http://www.rottentomatoes.com/celebrity/a

What’s happening in ARMA 3 world?

I’ve seen both. Even the screenshot just above shows a woman on the far left. Hard to tell due to the clothing, but face is effeminate.

Some games simply do not support gamepad. I love kb/m for FPS, joystick for flight, gamepad for fight/racing. But if I want to relax w/ a game of Cities: Skylines, I might want to do that with a controller, but that’s not an option, until the Steam controller.

There are tons of games I run into on Steam that do not

We Are Still Here is okay, not great. Slow burn movie. One of the friends is a bit of a hippy, looks quite a bit like Jack Nicholson from The Shining. Nowhere near as good an actor though.

Same here. I think most of our friends would think it weird that we skip movies based on how graphic the content is per the IMDB Parental Guide, but it’s better than going into the movie, being blindsided, and then trying to act like it was acceptable...

Ahhh, I found it. Galak-Z

I’m pretty certain I’ve seen a game that looked/played just like this recently, except you’re in a spaceship that can transform into a mech. Anyone recall the name of the game I’m speaking of (slipping my memory)?

But is that solved then? What is the 2nd red button actually triggering? Anything else new show up on the map? If you follow Aaron when he runs off, does he lead you to anything useful?

I’m just glad I don’t play the career mode of these sports games. I’d much rather just play straight-up matches on the court.

Same for me on both games. Regarding CoD, is that finally good again? MW2 and World at War were the last CoD games I actually enjoyed...

Googled this, looks like there’s 2 separate flags, 1 for framerate speed, the other for simulation speed. so sim default was 30, and people were only changing framerate alone, which caused game to run double-fast. setting both flags to 60 resulted in 60fps gameplay, but apparently even that isn’t 100% apparently.

Dunno if it’s just me, but so much of the art in current-day comics is so disappointing, that was one of the major draws for me when I was heavily into comics, which was extremely well done art that had good stories driving it... Some of these new books look downright childish with their art direction. ugh...

If I’d paid $60 for mad max, I’d perhaps think it wasn’t worth the cost, but at $30, it was well worth it. I’m loving the game, and I like the immersion into the world of Mad Max. Yes, repetitive, but so is most any other open world game, including Just Cause 2, which people revere...

Are they going to go “HD” with the graphics, or will it be totally old school?

imho, playing old 2d games usually holds up well, but old 3d games are typically empty/bland levels that are sparsely populated, I have trouble seeing how this will translate well...
