Trailer or dolly itself can easily be 1000 lbs on its own. Most gas powered RVs ($80K-$200K) can only tow 5000 lbs on the hitch, so you want your “towed” vehicle to be as light as possible. ESPECIALLY because most gas powered RV’s are already struggling…
