I'm not really a fan of the man's work, but he looked good with facial hair. Not a lot of hunky guys give it a shot, so good for him.

Yay, the fireworks are back!

I nominate BlueTunic's comment on the Mario thread. Insightful, polite, and moved the discussion forward. [Bit.ly] link here:

Thanks for drawing a clear distinction between W2 and Skyrim, that's really helpful. It sounds like a lot of fun.

Making trip after trip to line a street with RDX and then luring all the local Nazis to it and pulling the trigger...too much fun.

I've said this before, but I think The Saboteur is one of the great flawed-masterpieces of the current-gen consoles. There are some rough edges (the climbing, mainly) but the fact that the city feels like a real city and the game takes a fresh approach to some pretty well-worn content is worth celebrating. Plus,…

It's a well polished coop experience that is so well designed, it feels like a sport: meaning you can play the same basic gameplay for a long time and not get bored.

Nicely done. Reminded me of so many things I liked about the game.

The ambiguity comes from whether this is a good or a bad ending. Watch 4:00 to 4:30. They're excited about what they've just done but it dawns on both of them that they don't know if they've done the right thing. Or even if they've done a good thing.

(Spoilers in video, I guess, if you consider the ending to a movie that's been out for 45 years to be a spoiler.)

Exactly, even with the "good" ending you end up killing everything in the galaxy one way or another. So, I cured the genophage and made peace between the Geth and Quarians only to become the galaxy's biggest war criminal? F that.

I felt the same way about the last hour (I finished it the night before last). I think I said goodbye to each of the characters like four times over the last two missions and then, at the actual end of the game...that's it??

YES! Up to and including this pretty great song from their last album. The instrument variety, keyboard solo, and vocal parts would make it perfect.

Lack of Buddy Holly is an unbelievable oversight. Shameful.

The added challenge from Del Shannon is that it's freaking tough to sing. Great choice.

Damn right—those thunderstorms are so awesome.

"BioWare strongly believes in the team's artistic vision for the end of this arc of the Mass Effect franchise."

Leave the training droids alone!! Why is she killing them??

Couldn't happen to a nicer group of people.

Just watched the movie again recently and it's held up really well. Fantastic cast (with a bunch of people way before they hit it big), great music, and absolutely packed with obscure movie and music references.
