Same here. I kept overshooting targets because I was expecting to have to compensate for distance.

Fun with mines!
We must have been typing at the same time—and yes, nothing is nearly as frightening as accidentally wandering into Old Olney with your level 3 character and getting torn to stuffing in an instant.
It's supposed to be more like Fallout 3. As you level, you encounter new, stronger enemies. No more getting killed by level 23 Bandit Hedge Wizards.
I think that's a great idea.
Don't play it. Don't care about it. Waiting for Skyrim. Sorry!
His bro-shorts in the right image are pretty hilarious.
I'd steer clear of them!
the only way I can see it being different is if they pull off a really well done different perspective thing with the game
no interest in LA due to the crippling poverty, racial divides, vanity and economic disparity
If they make a city that feels half as real as the city from L.A. Noire, I'll buy three copies of the game.
Hearted.
Clearly, you have not seen a 70s kitchen :)
Sweet! Hexagons!
@Sugoi @TheRogueEconomist: You both make some very good points. (Yay for real information on Kotaku!) I wanted to add that I think that he's talking about a bubble more like the Atari crash of 1983, an interesting event in and of itself:
@HobbitGamer: You have my blessing.
What I'm excited about is that you're supposed to be able to return to Zion (and the Big Empty, and the Divide), instead of it being a one-way, one-time trip. Should be fun to repeat.
Level cap is raised by 5.
Thanks for your thoughtful comments. I never take Long Haul either because there are too many that are critical to the build I'm working on (lately, an unarmed/melee build on Hardcore). I have a bunch of museums scattered across the Wasteland, too...some houses, hotel rooms, even caves. Trouble is, I lose track of…
@zombie_batch: This is one of the few expansions where I don't think a single piece of equipment has made it into my "regular rotation"—neither armor nor weapons. Disappointing. And getting your old equipment back and realizing "Huh, these knife spears really suck" was kind of a bummer.
