@noodl3s: To me it was a great game like most CoD games are, but I don't think I will look back and remember it above others in the series. I wish there had been more "Black Op" aspects of the game. It was a bit heavy on the action at the sacrifice of substance.

@thecast: Great ideas, and I'm embarrassed to say I'd never heard of Death to Spies OR played any of the MGS games. (I just got a PS3 a couple of weeks ago and haven't picked up MGS4.)

@mdo7: Moar Cold War, please. A stealthy-talky type game (like Alpha Protocol crossed with Mass Effect 1) would be great for a game set in East Germany.

@Batman: Not only are there no talking women, but there's a setpiece in a Turkish prison....

I think we can get a little more creative than that. Off the top of my head:

@arionfrost: How about a game where you play as a Saxon "guerilla" fighting the Normans after the Battle of Hastings?

@William Henry Harrison: Instead, just in the way you may learn about the universe of Starcraft playing SC2, you'll learn about the universe of the NBA playing 2k11. Many players may take away something different from the game and many won't touch it at all, but this is true for any video game.
