Wow, in the US that kind of business savvy gets you the Oval Office.

Yep... this kind of behaviour and attitude in the oil industry is just another incentive for me to continue buying the most efficient car I can afford.

Johnny 5 is alive.

The order will change daily depending on what others are watching, and Netflix says that “the position of the row will vary depending on how relevant the shows and films are to you.”

That’s how I’m interpreting that line too. It’s not the top 10 most popular at all — it’s just their standard algorithmic

Counter point: Maybe you don’t.

Unless I’m reading it wrong, I actually think that this bar does show the most popular content on the site. What they will vary is where on your particular view this “bar” shows up, relative to other “bars,” based on whether they think you will watch any of the most popular stuff.

You’re missing the bigger picture here. Forget the ability to remake movies....

I call bullshit. Where are the Scrum meetings and the Kanban board? What do they use for bug tracking? What sort of IDE is that, and how good is the debugging support?

I can work, also makes your phone a nice space heater.

Just a heads up: If you get shitty or mean in these comments I’ll remove them. Go be an asshole somewhere else.

Pretty sure you can do this on a system-level with MacOS. No browser extension needed.

The books are probably the best entry point, but I think you’re fine going into the show, so long as you understand that it’s not going to carefully lay out all the world building in advance, and will fill you in along the way instead.

i an EXTREMLY familiar with source material .i read each book like 10 times (im polish so thats on the course of fifteen years) and i still found it confusing a . I think the main reason for this is that the Yen i Geralt are like a 100 yeras old and ciri is like 14 . So they got more stories. Now they gonma connect

If you like good fantasy books, I’d recommend it. I’m watching the first episode and am not confused at all so far. But, I’m a fan of the books, so it’s likely if there are faults with the show, I’ll probably overlook many of them.

My Son is a fan of the games. I, on the other hand would rather pick up the books first. Is this a good idea, before watching the show or should I just go into the show with no preconceived knowledge?

I was expecting an article on how this practical effect was pulled off. Sure, he can really slide on pavement like that, but the background looks just a bit “off”, so assumed the street was real, but there was no drain top/sidewalk, just a green bar and then greenscreen behind it they could replace with “downtown

They said it was specifically built, so most likely Styrofoam.

Gotta admit, that stunt was pretty slick.

... was trapped in a thermal pocket and reflected the light from Venus.

Try angling it towards your front, that may change your feelings.
