Fhloston Paradise is among the best I’m told.
Duh, Krypton. RIP.
I don’t care for 4K for the most part until I’m watching Planet Earth 2. Then I love it. LOVE IT. And I would say I can tell the difference between my 4K set and my 1080p set (both are 55"). But one is only a year old and the other is 3 or 4 years old, so that could also be a factor.
My advice? If it’s your first 4K…
We shoot on RED 8K camera systems every now and then. I try to avoid it whenever possible. If you’re shooting higher than 6K for a 4K or smaller deliverable you’re probably overcomplicating things (with some obvious exceptions).
I hate 8K. I don’t even like 4K. I hate the push for realism when a director is going to…
I heard “Bozo” responded by buying Trump’s entire business empire 20 times over.
Buses stop too frequently and don’t drive fast enough. We’re talking about economies of scale here. I hate buses, love DART. I think the critical operator here is in the “rapid transit” part.
I think he’s been operating this way for a while. I couldn’t tell you how long it’d take to capture 100,000 clips of footage that’s only valued at $250K. Even if you were getting a grueling 100 media files per day, that’s still 1,000 days of shooting.
On an ambitious day we’ll shoot something like 20 setups. Call it…
Agree wholeheartedly. We always have EVERYTHING we do in two or three locations. We won’t even fly with two copies of the same media being in the same luggage.
The minute that card leaves the camera, all bets are off until the footage is dumped and duped.
Dealing with those financial scales, WHY is he structured as a freelancer and not as a company? Good heavens, the tax implications. Especially in that state.
I like my tunnels exciting, possibly with an element of danger or collapse.
Can you guys post a review by a Red user who’s actually on set every day? I’d love to get their take on it.
I believe that was the plan from the start. All my RED owner friends were getting psyched up about this phone complimenting their $60K camera brains. If you own one of those, you don’t exactly have your toe in the water- you’re all in- so dropping another $1,300 on a peripheral that also makes calls is nothing.
I had the same thought. Depending on the file format, there might be a rich bank of data from which one could push color wherever they wanted. R3D still photo files? Don’t mind if I do!
I really want this to work. As a proof of concept, if nothing more, this really needs to work.
Weirdest porno I’ve ever seen. That music.
Seabiscuit is a close runner up. Secretariat was fictional I think. Famous horses.
Mr. Ed was unavailable for comment. And dead.
