42.

Obvious comment was obvious. :)

Side note, added bonus of building a badass custom desktop (almost same specs as yours except 32GB DDR4 and an Intel i7 5820k and a SHITLOAD more storage- we do video) I should be able to run Oculus Rift pretty easily, which I will... if it ever arrives...

I think in lieu of making a huge investment into a new laptop we just have to set our expectations. Our badass custom desktop machines can do the heavy lifting and for most mobile requirements we can use our old MBP’s.

Came here for the comments. Exactly what I expected.

They’re incomparable. Like comparing your pinky finger to your dick.

Patent pending.

Perfect example of some dude thinking he’s a genius when actually he’s just making it harder for the rest of us.

This, exactly. Haha. 10,000,000%.

To be honest, as someone who does a good deal of casting, this just looks like a pretty normal audition to me. But she does admittedly have a little more range here than what I think I actually saw in the film. I’d have asked for a closeup or ECU of this audition (and all other candidates), but that’s just how we

That’s crazy, because I thought that BB-8 character sucked. No acting ability whatsoever. Basically one look. Le Tigre.

It is. And 5 miles from helipads unless you notify them or the FAA that you intend to fly and get clearance. Technically.

Echoing this. ^^ It’s 400 feet. A lot of drones will come with a governed altitude ceiling that you can only bypass by tooling with some pretty advanced settings.

National parks are blanket no-fly-zones. There are numerous articles citing this. It’s all because some guy crashed his UAV into a geyser at Yellowstone- another person who probably shouldn’t have been flying one.

My first drone was $980. It’s awesome. That said, I’ve crashed it once on a fly away caused by interference and signal drop (luckily it flew into a nearby hedge) and I crashed it once on a big, surprise updraft during landing. No structural damage luckily- just a few broken props at about $8 each.

The red zone is for loading and unloading only.

I admit that I was a 90's kid cartoon fan, and I know little of the original comics beyond that series’ interpretation. The truth is I no longer know what is canonical, so when Hollywood throws changes at me I rely on the vigilant fact-checking of actual fans to tell me what’s what, then I call foul with the masses
