Throughout my life, climate change has become increasingly more prevalent (in so far as we've witnessed it) and widely accepted as fact. With it come positively devastating consequences of globally catastrophic scale.

Nah, I'll vouch for this. I was a hardcore PC guy since '95 and made the switch in 2010 to a MBP. What I found was that I spent all my time troubleshooting my PC- software and hardware- instead of actually accomplishing anything.
