Amen.

My Photoshop program has infinityX digital zoom.

Right? I don't get all the haters. These are pretty funny!

I like it! Baptism by fire then? Deal.

Yeah, they might... but probably not. Tons of major directors still shoot film but then have it telecine'd (transferred to a digital format). Digital NLE's are just so, so, so much easier and inexpensive. :)

Granted, Giz readers could probably handle that conversion. But the rest of America, I'm not so sure about. Case in point:

Give that boat captain a gold star. That WAS awesome!

I... I knew it...

Still laughing from this. Now THAT'S #winning.

This?

You won't get there in a normal lifetime, anyhow. Download your consciousness into a giant mainframe before you die and you'll be there before you can say "many as one."

I just peed myself reading this response. Still laughing.

How stupid does that make us, the passengers, to fly in a bagillion dollar plane that we believed could be brought down by the radiation from a $300 iPod?

I don't know. I thought your suggestion sounded pretty logical to me. Especially if we're talking about pockets of frozen water! Something MUST be habitable, right?

In another story, Canon pays shooter who lost 5D to lion $40,000 for shot of lion carrying 5D away in its mouth.

Yeah, I'm not entirely sure where these people who are confirming that the interviewees are authentic are getting their info. My buddy is a producer who cast one of the characters interviewed in Bernie in a US Cellular commercial.

THAT IS PURE, UTTERLY FREAKING INSANE AND CAPS WORTHY!

Someone asked what her weight has to do with anything. Short answer? You don't see many fit people sitting around doing nothing for a week.

I'm HOPING Sam meant to say "acts" because three scenes, even if penned by Sorkin, could really suck. The best movie I've ever seen to pull off something like that was "12 Angry Men" and even that can be kind of a long watch.
