Its not really playing through the games multiple times. Getting “endings” A through E is a single “play through” of the game.

It sounds like Little Orbit is doing their best to unfuck a thoroughly fucked situation. I can’t imagine what Playdek has even been doing to reach this point.

The battle system definitely gets better, but I think TLS mostly succeeds on the strength of the characters and story. It’s a smaller, more intimate story (and cast) than his traditional RPGs, but I think that’s what makes it work.

I remember when a new game announcement from Mistwalker was something to be excited for. Now its always a letdown...
