Hannibal's directorial influence is all over USA's drama slate right now.

The shot that revealed the Villanueva "set" literally took my breath away. Such a wonderfully subtle moment of TV magic.

Great episode. But the whole Scott blackmail thing turned out to be rather pointless, didn't it? If the writers weren't going to drag out Petra's secret sperm, I wonder why they even bothered stuffing that in.

Jason Derulo and his utter waste of a presence on that panel is going to make the already interminable judges' critiques even more cringeworthy.

What!? This is a flat-out A if there ever were one this season.

Other than Billy's hasty re-introduction and his sudden relationship with Jane's friend, I thought this episode was better than last week's. The show's doing a fantastic job laying out each character's motivations - Jane is the center, of course, but even characters like Petra come across as eminently sympathetic in

I'm really going to miss Emilio. He has a face that just lights up the screen, and he's effortlessly charming. I feel like Ricky and Rudy are trying too hard, and Casey's not trying hard enough.
