Not just an Iron Duke... an Iron Duke and a 3-speed!
Not just an Iron Duke... an Iron Duke and a 3-speed!
Definitely. The person who is buying a 2400 pound extra wide go-kart with no power steering and very few creature comforts for $70,000 is definitely the kind of driver who would prefer a standard manual.
I bet the lack of 3 pedals has done a number on the 4C.
While it is a gorgeous car and even in Subaru Fanboi Blue (ish), I’d be a lot more heartbroken about it not coming to the states if it was available with 3 pedals. I understand that a good DCT will shift faster, be easier to live with (arguably), and often have better fuel economy, I just like my 3 pedals.
Reading David’s articles makes me feel good about my life choices.
Except a GTI wouldn’t qualify for my GM employee discount. It also has 4 inches less rear legroom than the Equinox, which does make a big difference with car seats. Also, I can tell you from experience that getting a small child in and out of a higher vehicle is much easier on the back.
Or, and hear me out here, you could just buy a C6 Corvette for this price and it would be much faster, more modern, and not a freakin kit car.
Meh, I’d still rather have the Porsche. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Volkswagen electronics alone should be a treasure trove of “quirkiness”!!!
Er, there’s a reason why 12Cs are considered bargains right now. They’re at 50-60% of their MSRP, whereas 458s mostly command most of what they were new, even if you get a near 10 year old one.
Would rather have a 911 R than a Veyron.
It actually looks better than either the Renegade or the Cherokee. No Alien Compound Eyes up front, no Muted Mister Anderson rear end.
Where’s the bias?
It’s bias because not two weeks ago Terrell was saying something very similar:
When you started, you promised to keep your biases out of your reporting. You are failing miserably. FA needs honest reporting; not another gawker wanabee. I would guess you are losing military readers by droves due to your bias. Stop it.
So I voted Crack Pipe on yesterday’s Acura because of 300,000 miles and reliability issues. This car is twice the price and probably has 2x or more times the potential to be a money pit. Nevertheless I nice priced it, in my mind the car has a way higher coolness factor than the Acura, plus the correct wheels are fed…
As an American living in England, unless you’re planning on selling the car in the UK at the end of the trip, just buy over here. $30,000 over here equates to nearly £24,000 post-Brexit and there are all manners of Alfas, Land Rovers, Porsches, Maseratis, any French car, and so on and so forth that you’ll never have a…
What? Why? What does this have to do with the Cosmo?
