Between this and the news of them software limiting a 75kwh battery to 60, and various lesser news within the past months, I’m disliking Tesla more and more lately.

This could be an awesome little resto-mod project and has some serious potential. But $3800 bucks is just too much for it. I think $2500 bucks would be about right.
At $1200, I’m a buyer (seriously). $3800? Crack. Pipe. Will some one (sucker) buy it? Probably. Will they attempt a 4AGE swap? Probably. Will they screw something up, get fed up, and dump it? Probably. Will they sell it for a rock bottom price? Probably. Will I jump then? Probably.
Canada is 51st State. Get over it already.
Seriously? I’d have thought it would be Toyota or Honda.
4-door version of a 2-door version of a 4-door car. Insanity.
No ones biting because the wagon fetish is a lie. Same reason those tarted-up CTS-V wagons never sold.
Love that but it would probably have a CVT.
The Mustang’s driver.
6cyl probably would not fit and would throw the balance off quite a bit...but I don’t see how they could not tune this even in N/A form to 225-230 hp. Honda got 240 hp out of a 2.0L motor in 1999...this isn’t rocket science.
Solid NP. Ideal road-trip vehicle.
NP all day.
I couldn’t disagree with you more on this one Tom. You’re setting people up again for a typical sales experience negotiating back and forth and spending a total of 3-6 hours at a dealership. I suppose the best answer to the question depends on the situation. As a customer make your intentions clear. If you are…
FORTY FUCKING GRAND.
Yup, Customers like you have likely been screwed a time or two before, however times have changed and dealerships don’t make as much as you may “know.” I am a salesperson and keep in mind, you can always avoid the negotiation process and buy at full sticker. I always do when I buy my cars, makes me feel good that I am…
Yea, when your spending 40 grand on a vehicle, you would rather save $300 then have a wonderful experience, and god forbid when something goes wrong be able to go back to that dealer and have them help you.
Two things I’ll never do...buy a car from craigslist, or own a XC90.
