But giving away conclusions without teaching the process of reaching them is bad teaching.

Or I could indoctrinate them with points of view without teaching them how to build a valid argument. Because, not understanding the perspective of the person you disagree with is totally fine in a world where the veil of the internet provides infinite protections to our convictions.
