I’m sorry, have you played The Witcher?

I think the Witcher III is a pretty definitive test-case for this scenario. There’s definitely an anti-anime stigma attached here.

When are they gonna ban The Witcher then?

Folks over at LupieSoft made a interesting point (I read in a techraptor article), that they believe if they made the exact same game with 3D realistic art style, no one would mind.

Can’t say I disagree personally.

I do, but context matters. Shame you don’t understand that.

On a personal level, I’ve no interest in seeing a non-Harrison Ford, Han Solo movie. If the story is so good, attach it to a new IP or a at least a Star Wars movie with new characters.

Let me be clear: Solo has flaws. But those flaws pale in comparison to the rest of it. This may not be your favorite Star Wars movie, and it definitely won’t change what you think Star Wars can be. It will, however, remind you of everything you love about it and, hopefully, have you grinning like Han the first time

Too bad she proved inadequate for the job back in the days of her being placed in charge of Jurassic Park franchise for films 2 and 3. Now she’s just proving it wasn’t a fluke that they lost lots of good will from the fandom and potential profit that caused Jurassic Park to need a decade and a soft reboot to recover

Good filmmaking decision leaving that out. Nobody wanted any coherent emotions or motivations depicted in Last Jedi.

Let me point you to Skips. A Mark Hamill character, who went through some shit, but never forgot who he is. Your idea of humanity, isn’t about humanity. It’s about a trope. Skips is a realler human character than Luke Skywalker, and that’s where you and Rian Johnson fail to understand what makes a person real, and

It’s a fictional movie about flying space wizards, reality can do one.

Then we’re deliving into George RR Martin territory.

That’s the worse part, TLJ betrayed the original movie, that is unforgivable, it’s a watchable movie but it isn’t the Empire clone it wants to be, or is hailed as.

Luke also says that there’s no good vs evil and the force is just a thing, potentially setting up this cool new direction the franchise could go, yet clearly ending the movie with it being, you guessed it, good vs evil, light vs dark, once again, as if the movie never happened.

Y’know where this sort of thing would have been really useful? In the actual film.

The only possible way for a believable ending to this is if Rey dies with Ben. The resistance fails, the new republic is decimated, and the empire rises, falters, and the galaxy descends into a dark age from which it never truly recovers.

He’s underrated. The dude has acting chops, for all that he started out as a sitcom/soap star in the ‘70s. His voice work really shows what a versatile powerhouse he is.

I know Luke is a fictional character but it is hard dealing with what his character has gone thru. He started off so happy and full of energy, ready to fight the Empire and help restore freedom to the galaxy. Then to find out his father is one of the most evil beings in the galaxy after having his hand cut off,

Fixed that headline for you.
