Oh, I’m sorry! Allow me to clarify my position:
Mara Jade. Mara Jade Mara Jade Mara Jade Mara Jade Mara Jade.
Mara Jade, Kyle Katarn and Revan would be my top three.
I always figured that ships in the Star Wars galaxy could easily have over a century of steady use. The biggest cap on operating life is probably blaster fire.
why cant we just have a good movie without everyone wanting some type of representation for their group of this or that or some conceived failure on someones part becuase it was thought that they should have included someones obscure or mainstream view on something.
In fact, here’s a list of reasons why the Manly Man-Emperor of Mankind is better than all the other beings that call themselves “Gods”.
A Deus Ex type of game would definitely involve either the Inquisition (due to all the morally grey stuff that they do) or the Eldar (game will probably allow to go Dark Eldar at some point).
Amen. Give me a Battlefront-esque FPS where one faction are an Imperium faction, with Space Marines few and far between (the rest being Guardsmen/Sisters of Battle) and the other are the Chaos or Xenos eqvuialent.
Y’know what would be great?
A Warhammer 40k game that played closer to Deus Ex (in terms of length/complexity), and didn’t involve the GOD DAMNED SMURFS.
...alternatively, I’d also accept another Dawn of War that doesn’t follow the shit decisions of II or III (because god damn it, WH 40k works well with large-scale RTS…
The opening scene was nothing short of dramatic
Someone’s going to have to explain to me why Ms Kikuchi couldn’t have starred in Ghost In The Shell.
I pulled this image from this thread in the “Cloververse” subreddit:
Since this comes from Abrams there’s a good chance absolutely none of the questions you ask will be answered, right? That’s what people more familiar with his work than I keep saying about him in these comments.
Watching the mirror scene, I strongly got the image its main intent was not to have any deep symbolic meaning, but was just meant to look cool
Seriously, this is a letdown. I thought it looked cool and was wondering what exactly it meant... and apparently, the director himself does not know what its supposed to mean? All he can do is give us his interpretation? Goddamnit, Rian Johnson. You had one job!
He had an image in his mind and force fed it to the story ?
And herein lies the problem with calling everything “racist.” You have an obscure image that is vaguely racist as long as you have the correct racism decoder ring, then it’s time to cry racism over an innocent post (I can’t even call it an “innocent mistake” since there is no mistake there).
I find this quite fantastic. Always been interested in the game and their characters, but I myself find it difficult to sit and play a videogame where no matter what I do I’m gonna feel like shit. Looking forward to their work!
Give me a minute. I’m writing a mod to make this comment less cynical.
