Good summary.  I can understand not liking the film, but am baffled when I hear people say there was a lack of character development.  These criticisms seem to hone in on Finn, the guy who starts the film trying to steal an escape pod to run away, and ends it with trying to give his life to help the resistance.

TLJ did 2/3rds the box office Force Awakens did.
