He does have weak records but I think his average is pretty dang solid for a career as long as his. Plus I'll still go to bat for Magna Carta. Might be a lazy and shallow record but as an exercise in aesthetics I like it.

Oh yea definitely. He has a 20+ year career, and is one of the most accomplished rappers of all time. Even his records that aren't great usually set a trend or two and his best records are cultural touchstones.
