I do! And it worked!

Don’t over rule in that situation unless you’re very very sure. That situation being the fifth set. And it wasn’t a hissy fit. He has every right to be pissed. Bust your ass for hours and have it decided by an umpire over ruling the linesman on a very close call? I’d lose my mind as well.

Wow, you completely missed the point I was making. I never even implied Bernie should have a say over Hillary’s policies, just that the DNC should not be alienating his supporters if they want them to vote for her. Just because someone is registered as a Democrat does not mean they have to vote for the party nominee.

I know, when it comes to myself, I am not voting the party line anymore. I’ve done it my entire adult life because every time it’s been “more important than ever before”. Well, I’ve had it and this time I’m voting my conscience and my real political beliefs.

So in other words, us mettlesome kids should just sit back and strap in while “the adults” continue steering this bus off of Mount Everest...? You sound like a republican when you scoff at people that actually want to make it easier to vote, to be well-informed, and to make it easier for candidates to get their

Way to miss the point. You claim the party is only obligated to it’s members, then don’t care that the person backed by nearly half the party was running an uphill race against the person anointed by the party leadership years in advance. Those members who supported Bernie deserved better.

I wasn’t trying to say he should have won with those numbers, but 45% is nearly half the party...all I was saying is a large percentage of the party members supported him, and they deserved to see the race run impartially. If the majority of party voters actually preferred Clinton she still would have won, but there

What if the candidate does not agree with the people the party has chosen to run in the down ticket races? I can imagine that Bernie Sanders had very different people he wanted to see in a lot of races than DWS...how would that work if he was forced to support people he disagreed with and then ended up as head of the

My point (which apparently went over your head) is that you shouldn’t have to join these private groups to have a shot at the presidency, but the two parties have made every effort to mold the system to keep themselves in power. And my mention of the media wasn’t to claim that the DNC controls them, just another

The Tree of Life is a beautiful, gorgeous, moving work of art and I will brook no arguments otherwise

If your goal is to ‘encourage’ Dems who supported Bernie to make sure Trump doesn’t win by getting on board with HRC, then denigrating and insulting them is not a very effective strategy. Make your case and leave it at that, without rudeness. It’s your best shot.

I agree 110%. I trained Jiu Jitsu most of my life, and was a senior level (lvl 4) Army Combatives instructor. I loved the sport, and loved teaching it, but could never jump the mental hurdle associated with hurting people for money in front of a crowd.

So, you don’t think a major political party, whose constitution requires them to be nuetral during the primary process, working to give an advantage to one candidate over all others is something to be concerned about?

Wait- what?

If that’s not the mission statement of this very site, I can’t think of a better one.

Can we list the countries that are better at soccer than England?

I do - FUCK THE NRA

Las Vegas Nevadans.

It is a combat sport. The object is to incapacitate, inflict pain, and perform more harmful acts than your opponent. What the fuck do we expect? The only newsworthy thing here is that a competitor’s death doesn’t happen more often.
