@Lorrr: I know plenty of people who aren't gamers but have boughten Wiis, and all of them have picked up the Wii because of the hype, not because of the game library.

I believe the price point, but the motion controller? I still think this was fueled by guessing Microsoft would make a motion controller b/c everyone else has it + the Lips microphone having motion sensing. I don't think a pure motion sensing 1st party controller exists or is being planned. I think there were mumors…
