In between OT1 and OT2 of the Blues game, they showed people sleeping in the crowd. SLEEPING.  What kind of anemic human being sleeps during intermissions of a Game 7 playoff game??  (although I will admit, these playoffs have completely, but happily, destroyed my sleep schedule)

The Sharks lost because the Avalanche played a better 2nd and 3rd period than them.  The Nieto goal happened because Calvert WANTED to score a goal, and wasn’t going to take no for an answer.  San Jose can bitch about the no-icing, but they lost because the Avs were the better team for 66% of the game. Bottom line.

Except that planes have huge amounts of airspace to fly around in - autonomy makes a lot more sense there than on a congested and inherently dangerous freeway.  Vehicle deaths outnumber any other form of transportation by a huge margin; in my opinion, autonomy will make this worse.  It either needs to be PERFECT, or…

And all of this is supposed to happen next year? While this year we have Teslas with rudimentary “autopilot” systems that are causing accidents?

Avs fan here - I went to both home playoff games. Both were incredible. Grubauer is playing lights out, but so is Smith. I was at the game last night and the crowd’s reaction to Makar’s goal was pure goosebump fuel.  He basically did a short lap around the ice while everyone was LOUDLY giving him a standing-o.  I can’t imagine how that felt for him.  It was a magical moment!
