I would assume that the pension calculation would be based off the percentage of your annual income that the pension is.

Was at Vicenza when they got back, with the sister battalion, 1/503. Missed that deployment by a bit little bit... Guinta among others deserves all the medals they get but it was a bit of a running joke that 2/503 was the rock-star battalion. Hell Guinta wasn't the only guy to get a MoH from that deployment from his…
Kinda reminds me of going through Manas on the way back from Afghanistan...except my entire BN wasn't able to drink the near beer while you saw everyone else enjoying theirs. Gotta love Occifer's who care more about their careers then their troops.
He was an O...that's far from the bottom of the totem pole. Lol.
Hell if those residential areas wanted to pay for repair, maintenance, and the patrolling to keep out 'non-locals.' I'd be ok with it. I'm all for privatizing anything...
Lol... did you see the big dig in Boston? Government on any scale is unable to do improvements to the infrastructure that is needed.
So you never try to find ways around traffic?

Our government is as 'dysfunctional' as it is because of the media, and politicians.
People are dumb. Its their fault for getting an underwater basket weaving degree.
Sallie Mae is a killer. You can pay extra principal but you need to call them about it...or at least you used to... I feel like they've changed it recently.
You're lucky you had all gov't backed loans. I was in the Army, and had 65ishK in Student Loan debt but most of it was private(never filled out a FAFSA, not my fault long story), and they wouldn't cover it with the college loan repayment program. Sucks.
Sallie Mae...or Navient now... is so sketchy.
So you never drive on state routes in other states?
The government is supposed to protect us from non local cars driving on local roads?!?! Wow, that's probably the most statist comment I've read on Gawker media.
Well I get what was going on...all I was saying is both articles you had cite the same survey from '04.
Ok. The first article you linked was from '05.
... Please show me stats where the U.S. military is made up of the poorest citizens? The majority of the guys I worked with were middle class...not all, but the majority, especially in the Infantry.
