Ok you’re right. I went back and watched again and Reva takes a few steps into the tunnel then stops and smirks like she figured something out. Still unclear how exactly she got to the port so quickly but that’s just nitpicking (kind of like how Vader appeared out of nowhere in front of Obi Wan.)

Sure, she could have somehow (and extremely quickly) figured out where the tunnel was headed. Or the tunnel could have had branches or whatever. But when the show doesn’t present these possibilities, I’m keen to take them at face value.

This desert planet had some foliage though!

Better than the second episode, but it’s still just so silly. The Stormtroopers are searching for a Jedi but their superiors never showed them a photo of said Jedi? How did they ever plan to find him? And Vader just lets Obi Wan get away because he somehow can’t figure out how to go around or through some flames on

Yea he’s best used exactly how he was in Rogue One; just show up, be terrifying, and kick butt for a bit while the good guys try to escape. Making a Vader show would be like making a show about Agent Smith from the Matrix.

Obviously I’ve yet to see how Christensen is included in the Obi Wan show, but Vader is a man in a mask with James Earl Jones’ voice. Does it even matter who “plays” Vader at this point?

Other than the fact that it happened, I truly don’t remember anything about the train robbery. But I was actually thinking of the entirety of the BoBF finale and how terrible the battle and chase scenes were set up (though yeah, that scooter chase was really bad too) when I wrote my comment. I could probably include

They must have hired that same team that did the staging for the chase and fight scenes in The Book of Boba Fett.

‘Promising Young Woman’ was such a gut punch that it still sticks with me. Sign me up for ‘Saltburn’ and whatever Fennell does next.

Yep, TLW >>> JP3 and it’s not even close. I’d seen JP3 a few times already but just watched most of it again yesterday after these reviews revived my interest. It feels like JP3 actually had a decent premise (and I enjoy the raptor and Pterodactyl bits) but ended up doing all the little things wrong and that’s all I

‘A Million Little Things’ has a lot of problems. The first season was all built up around a mystery that didn’t make a ton of sense when it was all said and done, but at least it felt like it had a purpose. Now the show’s schtick is just to tell you something and then reverse the facts in the next episode. The

I’d probably go S6 > S1 > S2 > S3 > S4 > S5.

For me, the pilot and then William’s storyline was probably the show’s strongest stuff but I think the final season was just one great episode after another. Randall’s campaign was probably the weakest plot in the series and while I liked the Vietnam stuff overall, it felt

I’m also glad they didn’t end with ‘The Train’, and even more glad they didn’t waste time this episode on Rebecca’s funeral service/eulogies. I initially thought it was a little weird to have Rebecca sign off at the end of the last episode only to come right back at the beginning of the finale, but it made sense in

Then why isn’t that sober friend doing the driving? There’s always going to be outlier cases and people who will do whatever it takes to best the system. But a breathalyzer in every car would stop 95% of the people who don’t even realize they are not sober enough to drive from driving.

Agreed, and to add to this, I’d bet most people grossly underestimate their blood alcohol level and are driving at over 0.08% all the time. They likely don’t even think they’re impaired when they are (according to the law.) “Two drinks in an hour” is such a flimsy metric.

I think they could have left the car stuff out of Titane entirely and it would have made for a better movie. The writer could have had her get pregnant some other way and still told the same story. I think the beauty of the ending really gets overshadowed by the supernatural aspects.

Co-bad guys?

I skipped the article and just scrolled down here to read the comments. Your comment about the article spoiler actually just spoiled it for me. Who’s the bad guy now?

Genuinely curious, what is RE actually about?

I always like it when I watch it, but then like it less when I actually think about all the plot holes/logical inconsistencies afterwards.
