She is the Jill Stein for a new generation.

This is how a lot of people described Ron Paul- sane, maybe even a bit refreshing for 30 seconds then a sharp right off a cliff and free fall to Crazy Town

It started off as a “Right on, sister! Preach!!” for the first few seconds and then it made a screeching right turn into crazy-town. By the time she was done with her first sound bite, I was all:

Tell the wife and don’t be friends with this asshole anymore. The 90% who wish they didn’t know should be treated for Stockholm Syndrome - as if not knowing would magically take everything “back the way it used to be.” The affair still happened along with the physical and emotional withdrawal, they just didn’t like

Gonna have to disagree with the doc on #2.  If you’re actually friends with his wife, like you actually care about her as a person and respect her as a human being, you’re obligated to tell her.  That’s just not something you keep from a friend.  It might be ugly, and it might blow up in your face, but I wouldn’t be

If you live in Alaska, Prime is basically the only way to get free shipping most of the time. I do NOT get stuff as fast as you Lower48ers, though, despite the fact the world’s 5th busiest cargo airport is 10 miles from me, and despite the fact I’m no farther from the West coast than New England is. Most Prime orders

Next day delivery. Most of the time it’s actually less than 24 hours.

I absolutely struggle with this as a dad. Last night, my daughter was struggling to get going on one of her required chores, and I cajoled and griped until she got up and I lit in to her with an exasperated “Finally!” I can see in my memory the look of rage in her eyes that flashed before she hid her face.

I have found that explicit appreciation works wonders with my kids (8- and 10-year-old girls). The work/school day morning routine is our biggest battle, but I’ve only recently realized that, when we do have good mornings, instead of saying something like “See? Why can’t you do this every morning?!?” something along

Agreed. The advice in the article seems sound, other than this one piece.

“That sounds like a tough deadline to meet. How much do you have done so far?

Heh? The whole point is to highlight the good. Day late/dollar short is piling on guilt. If the point is to encourage growth and good behavior, don’t be stacking that shit on a kid’s conscience. It hasn’t worked in thousands of generations of parenting and it’s not going to miraculously start working any time soon.

That’s quite an image, my friend.

I could be standing in a bucket of Deet, carrying a burning tire in a snowmobile suit soaked in citronella and they will still attack me in droves, my wife could be beside me naked and nothing. And if I get bitten I get huge welts that itch uncontrollably- my wife nope a little bump and maybe one scratch

Here’s the Tumblr post quote:

Pretty sure this applies to adults not just children.

Wow, nothing like a little racism with one’s dessert, is there?

Report it to state and federal labor authorities. As taking tip money is almost always illegal wage garnishment. IIRC its illegal federally and in most states. Its nothing to do with the minimum wage itself. Employers can not touch tip money. And they can not take wages you are fairly due (which includes tips). Its

If you go into "Your Prime" and "Manage Prime Membership", towards the bottom is "invite family member". Looks like you can share with up to 4.

I think one of the good things about Amazon Prime is that you can share it. So my wife and my parents have their own Amazon accounts that tie to my prime account and they get free shipping as well. So it's not just my purchases, it's all of our purchases that save.
