Interesting sidenote about Marilyn: She did, in fact, have an existence and activities outside of her vagina! You know, in so much as any woman can.

"This country is getting too pussified! Everyone should be tougher!"

The road was in China. It was a Chinese road.

Also, Jesus Christ, he can't even fucking deliver a joke properly. "A Chinese woman who lost her husband in a crowd, in China. Because they were Chinese. This was in China."

"Pussyification"? Come on dude.

I think there was an article a few months back about "attention whores" and there was considerable discussion as to whether or not the term could be applied to men.

So ... let me get this straight. On August 4th, women are shallow because they only admire women that society has deemed attractive, as opposed to women who have accomplishments.

On all other days, the only thing David Hookstead feels it relevant to critique women based on their appearances and not their

History: JFK fucked around with countless women, including Marilyn Monroe.

Good on her! I would like to point out, though, that Liberty University is one of the super evangelical Christian schools. According to their own website they are primarily concerned with "training champions for Christ." I have a feeling the adults in her life are at least partially responsible for her school choice,

Uh, are we ignoring the elephant in the room: Liberty University??? Where creationism is taught as science?

Just read the rest of the article. She wants to go into fashion law? I didn't even know that was a thing.

It's all fun and pride until someone mentions Liberty University.

Uh, can their parents volunteer to raise America?

The film itself is absolutely wonderful: warm, funny, sweet, with great music and loveable characters. So of course The Powers That Be manage to fuck it up. The great film critic MaryAnn Johanson (a.k.a. The FlickFilosopher) says the cover was "whitewashed and dickwashed." Indeed.

Ugh. As an Australian (who originally lived pretty close to where this was filmed, and set) I'm pretty pissed off about the cover. It's not a "marketing" choice (although I'm sure that's what Anchor Bay thought they were doing), it's racist, and sexist (hello, intersectionality!).

If it's a story about the struggle of four coloured women against racism and sexism it DOES kind of contradict the whole message of the story, as well as being highly misleading, to make the ONE white guy the main focus of the cover.

That response is another reason to love Chris O'Dowd. Like I needed another.

Please say that this is something out of the Onion. This isn't serious, right? People aren't taking out loans to send their kids to pre-k, right?
