1. Hatchery fish survival rates just stink in general, especially compared to healthy wild stocks, thats why managers play a numbers game with them. They don’t sustain themselves by subsequently breeding in the stream they are stocked in (natal stream for wild stocks), they just provide some more opportunity for users.

Pro-tip - don’t let anyone in tire shops use air guns, even with torque settings, tighten your lug nuts. Over tightening lug nuts has been shown to be a cause of rotor warpage (specifically on land cruisers in this case). Always torque to the correct spec using a torque wrench to avoid this.

I think its more pandering stunt than something that will actually lead to new development. For a variety of reasons the entities with the resources to develop haven’t been lobbying that hard for it be open for years now, and if they don’t actually bid on the leases the whole thing will go no where.
