Haha, my mistake. By the time I was aware of that store being a thing, I was already over stuffed animals.

Yes! That moment when Claire broke down was startling and powerful because up until that point, she's been a creature of pure self interest. Her one moment of vulnerability showed us that she's not entirely immune to the consequences of her actions, but when she just pushes it back down again, it makes her even more

This look is amazing. I want to copy it right down to the fake tie.

Glad this didn't happen to me! But maybe that's because I'm on the West Coast? In any case, I'm now appreciating the bouquet I received so much more knowing that I could've been one of the unlucky people to get screwed.

Build-A-Bear: "That's fun. You're dating a two-year-old."

Ahhhh, that's a really good point, haha. I don't know why I never thought about it from that angle. Here's hoping I feel like I have lots of energy left if I change my mind in my forties! I'm willing to roll the dice on it at this point since I'm still very much in the "no kids" camp.

This was going to be my comment too. I don't want kids at all, but if I change my mind down the road when it's not biologically feasible for me to have kids, then I'm planning on adopting. Actually, I'd probably adopt even if I could still have children. There's just too many orphaned kids out there who need good

I'm firmly in the "do not want!" category, but I too sometimes worry that I'll change my mind when it's too late biologically. However, I then console myself with the knowledge that it's never too late to adopt, and there will always be children in the world who need parents.

That's an eye-opening article, thanks for sharing. I remember now how Irene's Lyme disease was used to explain her departure from the show. Like she says, it makes me feel pretty naive looking back on it that I assumed things were "real."

I like Terry Brooks, but honestly, I don't remember a damn thing about the Sword of Shannara series, or any of this other books, except that they're enjoyable reads; whereas I read A Song of Ice and Fire once 10 years ago, and I still remember key plot points and character arcs. Shannara is a nice fantasy world, but
