I agree that there should be more diversity with stuff like this, but forcing diversity for the sake of diversity is a pipe dream.

No one gives a shit about the awards. It's only worth watching for the reveals. It's like a mini-E3 with bullshit awards thrown in.

Two things that stand out to me:

I don't care that there are only men judging VGAs... as long as games are judged fairly. This is no battle of human rights. Fuck Internet and its righteous and pompous culture. Women should have bigger place in everything but when I see everything turned into this fucking human rights battle. Ridiculous.

I really cannot think of anything less important than entertainment awards shows. Among them I cannot think of any awards show with a lesser amount of important than the VGAs.

I don’t give a damn about the awards at all. All I care about the show are the game reveals and the trailers. Anything else is just blank noise.

You want fair? How about we do a tally on the percentage of women gamers to male gamers and then say STFU to all you gender idiots.

There are mostly males playing video games, yes some females. So lets say there are 10% female gamers, so a judge count of 1 women to 10 men IS FAIR based on the demographic.
