@Manutdfan539: I used a 1 gig Sandisk without any problem. I also used a kingston 1 gig microSD (in an adapter) on my brother's Wii without issue.

@area_educator: How would you suggest they account for the amount of energy used to charge it? What if you have solar panels on your roof, and they are solely used for charging it? What if you live in a wind or nuclear powered city?

@FromaBuick6 Misses the Banned: I agree with you that hybrids are more hype than solution. The reason I think they (and especially the Volt and Tesla) are cool, is because they represent an advancement of the technology. Now that there's a market for it, car companies are finally doing R&D on cleaner alternatives.

@Van Sarockin, rogue trebuchet: So, do you then add the amount of energy it takes to refine gasonline, and then revise all other gas/electric hybrid vehicles' ratings accordingly? Seriously, how would you compare "apples with apples" in this sense?

Vote: VLC

@malnourish: I think they look cool, and I'd be will to give them a shot. If only they came in different widths — I have narrow feet, so I don't think the specific, moulded soles would work for me.

I use OOo almost exclusively, and I have to say that's pretty ugly. But, I'm glad they're experimenting — I know it's a first draft/mockup and I'm sure it will get better over time.

To keep meeting times in check, I bring a notebook (I mean paper, but I suppose a laptop might work as well). At the beginning, I open the notebook and place it on the table in front of me. When I feel the meeting has run its course, I close the notebook and take it off the table. Everyone else in the room seems to

How apropos that the cable guy advocates dishonesty.

Snack: Cashews, celery with almond butter (I'm one of those peanut allergy people.)

@evanston4393: You do realize that they're commercials - not clickable ads, right? Not blocking them means you watch them (unless you hit mute and turn away, I guess.) Blocking them means that Hulu's [primary?] source of revenue is bypassed.

@arctanb: That is bad. You'd think they'd bother to run the result through a spell checker, or at least a general rule that "tne" most likely means "the".

@benpant: 40%? 50%? Holy cow! No offense to you or any other UK readers here, but I'll be celebrating the US independence just a little more enthusiastically in two days, knowing that. That is some crazy tax over there, friend.

I've been happy with G4L (Ghost for Linux (not a Symantec product)) in the past, but I'll have to give Clonezilla a try.

Oh yeah, try this one:

@seiun: ...fat, lazy self-centered, smug arse.

@OCEntertainment: Wait. Did Star Trek have a "stinger"? I finally saw it on Sunday, but I didn't stick around for possible post-credit extras — the large diet coke in my bladder was quite insistent that I leave promptly.

I'm an engineer (embedded systems), so I change jobs a lot (I've had six different employers since 2000). I've found that simply stating the high-end of what I'd like to make works well. Don't hesitate. Don't pause and pretend to ponder, or do the numbers on the fly. You know what you want, and they know that you

@asfg812: Yeah. There should be an asterisk* next to that "FREE" up there.
