Dear prospective parents of the world,

If you enjoy the pain and discomfort of examination, then by all means raise your arms like that; if you prefer to feel no more pain and discomfort than strictly necessary, put your arms down.

I totally get your point but would it matter if she was found guilty in court of what she was arrested for, either/both from a legal or/and a moral standpoint? Would a guilty verdict make her 'fair game' in that respect, also for commercial use of her mug shot?

Thanks for clarifying.

This is so awesome — Lupita Nyong'o is so awesome — that I wish I could star this post more than once...

Fair enough... but I don't mind being considered dumb for doing it. Worse things can happen :) Sometimes I just want to convey the sentiment of an expletive without necessarily spelling it out.

Imagine coming home to that every day of their puppyhood... bliss!

Actually, I often write [bleep] or %^&$ or something else to replace expletives. I don't see any sin in that. Filming people without their consent, though? No way!

Networks love reality TV shows because they are relatively cheap to make, but I wish production companies would (be allowed to) be more ethical about making them. Oh my God, you went through hell! Why is it called (mental) healthcare when there's no element of care in it?!

Yes, please! I'd be very interested in reading them.

Perez Hilton stopped being relevant a long time ago.

When did Beyonce stop looking like Beyonce? And when did she stop being black?

Is this a deja-vu of when the Daily Mail vowed to never ever ever use paparazzi shots again, like, never ever or am I just being cynical?

Not news: Daily Mail sensationalises story from blog referencing medical journal publishing small medical study from Turkey. Come one, Jezebel, you can do better than this, surely!

Kept in solitary on a psychiatric ward? It makes me wonder if that's what a former colleague of mine meant when he told me he had left a career in (psychiatric) care for fear of what he might have become if he had stayed.

some physicians believe this phenomenon begins as a harmless cold
