I agree with everything you said except the “when i was younger” defense.

Question about the Teen Rating.  I normally don’t let my 6 year play Teen Rated games, but is this one just rated Teen because of the Satanic Elements?  (Which I”m fine with), the art style is cute and the violence doesn’t look too bad from the trailer.

Is anyone else getting confused between the 1994 “Cyberia” game with 1999 “Syberia” game? Both were action adventure puzzle games.

It’s being made by the same team of lucas arts people who had Star Wars 1313 canceled on them.  I can’t imagine working for 10 years and having every game I worked on being canceled.

Would a gamespot have $250,000 worth of cards like that?

I am a developer, and normally I appreciate people defending “the business” side.

But never forget your attention is the most valuable asset you own. When you give it to a game, you absolutely are “investing” in it in a way.

If I am going to spend my attention getting good at a very specific set of made up skills, I

It’s the old rule. You can watch the video, or you can write comments about it. They can’t expect us to do both.

I was actually thinking about how excellent this game would be for VR.  Except I bet the vertigo would be a pretty big problem.

How much more do they need to raise to add VR support to the game? 100 million? Seems like its worth the jump to me at this point.

My only criticism is how could they not have added NFT’s yet?

They wasted *0 Money* on QA for RDR2.

Maybe they will replace them with pages from a Dr. Suess book and you can be just as upset.

Except... why would anyone be upset by the limitation.

When “fans” stop buying things from “investors” the bubble pops. And investors lose all that money.

Maybe we should agree to a voluntary cancellation of gamescon for 3 or 4 years.  Or put a cap on what we pay for retro games of like $100.  If enough of us got together we could bring prices back down to earth.

I think your game sounds great, but Anthem killed any hope we had for an open world Iron Man in the next 5 years.

It doesn’t matter if you are “much more vocal about why you find a position utter rubbish”, if you frame a debate like that anyone (@ianwalker) who writes a story about it after can just leave out the part that makes you seem sane.

Give it 5 years.  You won’t believe how much better VR gets and how much the price comes down.

All jokes aside there is a market for this. I LOVE mowing the lawn. But you just can’t do it everyday. Even if you switch to a hand push rotary mower, you are harming the grass if you don’t let it alone for at least a couple days.

Hopefully this game can tide me over between real mows.

I paid $10 for the Hedge Trimming DLC, and I have to say 100% worth it.

I think the goal was to message that “achievements” are worthless. And that video games are ultimately pointless, just like everything else.

I appreciate the ZEN.

100% agree. But with a story this long and detailed, I’d much rather have it read to me as a Youtube video or in a podcast.

Good new Kotaku editor please listen, not every video needs crazy production value. I just want to be able to listen to really good, long reads in the background while I work.
