And COTD. You can go home everyone.

This could be true though. Even on my WRX there are tons of filters that say they fit my vehicle. Yes they do fit but either A) Don’t have the correct bypass pressure or B) Don’t have an anti-drain back valve. I can see why an OEM could say you voided your warranty for engine failures if you use an aftermarket…
Aaaaand win. Well done.
Dude, if you just get rid of the windscreen you never have to scrape ice off it!
To be fair, a bad alternator is kind of like being pregnant. It can cause a whole host of seemingly unrelated problems.
I’m pretty sure you could crack a windshield with that process.
“You should read Jalopnik, it’s good and insightful.”
BUY THIS ASTON MARTIN/AMG/M5/BENTLEY/PIECE OF SHIT THAT WILL COST YOU DOUBLE THE PURCHASE PRICE TO MAINTAIN BECAUSE YOU’RE TOO COOL TO BUY A CAMRY OR ACCORD.
If you drink enough antifreeze you definitely won’t get heartburn again though.
Seafoam will help your car run better:
Appropriate screen name is appropriate. Hate to sound like I’m taking VW’s side in this but man do I not feel the least little bit bad for them telling this dude to fuck right off.
Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.
So you spent your time and energy tearing the floor of your car apart so you wouldn’t HAVE to drive an Aston Martin Vantage 90 miles? Your logic escapes me.
So if the camshaft snaps in half while still under warranty, you’re going to replace the engine with another used AM engine from a salvage yard instead of heading to the dealer, and have them replace it with a new or remanufactured unit?
Ah, thank you, Jojo. No wonder I-15 is bumper to bumper with them.
Why do people act like when they crank up their car to warm up that some how that the parts in the engine are not being used while idling? The parts in the engine still are moving, so the wear n tear that you are trying to prevent is impossible.
Ah, if only any of this was true on a modern engine. The difference between expansion/contraction of disparate metals in modern engine tolerances is simply not relevant.
If that's the case why don't we warm up our transmissions and differentials?
