to be fair, with modern online games, you lose some of the early perks if you wait for GOTY edition. a mostly singleplayer game like Skyrim is going to be the exact same a year later, hell it might be even better with a year of bug fixes... a game like Destiny or even Battlefield which have a significant multiplayer…

you have to realize that MEDIUM on a 770 probably still looks much better than whatever the ps4/xb1 is putting out for the same game... the ceiling got higher but you are getting the same performance you paid for back then
