yeah man, this is my christmas.  every time they announce a new album, a throw on a old one (Songs for the Deaf is on in the background) and start looking for tickets.  goddamn this made my friday.

yeah josh is still the man but to have him countered on certain songs by Nick's devilish howling really made for a dynamic band. hard to think of another band with vocalists that disparate but well united; maybe just the masters of the universe, Fugazi.

interesting take. I gotta say though, I found the scene where Belushi is overcome with disgust and smashes that hippies guitar into pieces insanely relatable.  I've been to parties where there IS some asshole playing an acoustic guitar like that.

dang newsradio had some real wtf awesome episodes, like this dream ep, the  space station episode, the titanic episode.  plus a bunch of episodes are named after led zep songs.  my point? time to go watch the Real Deal with Bill McNeal

when its good it is fucking chilling and dreamlike, like nothing else ever on tv.  but those james-on-the-farm episodes in season 2…ech.  those have zero redeeming value and only serve to make the final few episodes that much greater in comparison.  BOB
