I gotta say, Joshua's reviews seem to boil down to, "This is not how I would write the show." And man, you have no business writing Empire. I feel like I'm watching a different show than you write about.

There's a great color episode of Dragnet where Joe Friday and Col. Potter from MASH have a quiet evening at home together. Potter wears an apron and makes a casserole and they play bridge with the neighbors. Eventually a con artist shows up so there's a little policing, but it's mostly a tender story of two old queens…
