I have to disagree with you there. It was a decent e3.. Not the best, not the worst but solid. Squenix had some winners, Nintendo didn’t disappoint with their trademark last minute bombshell. Even Microsoft had something decent to show us.
I’ll give it a go this year
I’ve never had a migraine, but I have heard and seen how debilitating they can be. Worst is, apparently there is no cure or anything like that, like a pill you can take. Although, supposedly if you can figure out some triggers it can be manageable to an extent.
I’ve been enjoying No Mans Sky, just as I thought it was getting a little boring some interesting stuff happened and yeah.. it really is an incredibly vast game, although I can see it getting repetitive eventually.
I’m glad to see you’ve made it to the alpha stages, and appreciate the regular updates.
It seems they have taken Telkom’s approach to customer service in that the customer has to drive the entire situation.
Howzit my china!!
I just want to add, your last response was rather amusing. Space firewall. LOL. Their offices may as well be on Mars, it certainly seems that way when dealing with that lot.
Nice to see another South African here on TAY!
AMD, and apparently it’s common knowledge that NMS runs like poo on AMD cards..
I picked up NMS today on Steam, and it appears to be a little bit broken.
It will be interesting to see how this works. Hopefully it comes with a trial period which will be especially important for users like me, in countries several years behind in terms of infrastructure.
Destiny never really clicked with me, either. I played the open beta, and it was OK, but I didn’t find myself rushing out to get the full game. I did pick up Destiny 2 while it was free a while ago, but haven’t bothered to even install it.
I suppose this would be an improvement, kinda like you usually see a few at the day care and occasional farm. Or, a more persistent effect like the Wingull that fly over in ORAS (I think it was that one)
Personally, I’m very happy with what I saw. I’m glad they played it safe and here’s why -
I didn’t get to try PXZ2, but thoroughly enjoyed the first one. The story was absolutely ridiculous, the characters knew it, they were beautifully animated in a mashup of 2 of my favorite genres(fighting and TRPG) and there were iconic characters from some of my favorite series!
Yo, Slinky. Sounds like you’ve got a great time lined up, hope it really is the best!
My take on that line between difficulty and annoyance - it depends on what kind of day I’m having.
Katamari Damacy is insane, I thoroughly enjoyed it but finished it in only a few hours :( So it did feel like a rather engaging mini game
Oh man, bad games. I’m gonna go for El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron. It was weird, had an art style that was both really pretty and also very unsettling. Controls were OK but some of the platforming was awful. I got it for like $5 and quite enjoyed it, something about it just made me want to keep playing it.…
