My theory about the SATC characters is that they all hate each other but are also dependent on each other. So they treat each other like shit in their day-to-day lives, completely wrapped up in their own worlds, but then once things get bad enough, they'll make these grand gestures of friendship that wrap up each

Out of curiosity, at what point did you stop reading? First sentence?

Sherbet he's not around anymore, is he?

Your local librarian or clergy person may have the answers you seek

Re: Nate — You make my point for me here, as "what they don't know won't hurt them" is the very opposite of considering how the Kimmels might feel if they found out about his subterfuge.

Hahaha, astute as always BT!

Aw. You're too kind to me, CB. Thank you.

But that's the Vita's job! It's not a portable game console; it's a power-outlet sentry.

There's a difference between being inspired by old games and "aiming for retro appeal," and my sense of Axiom Verge is that it leans more heavily toward the former. The aesthetic forebears are unmistakable, and I did not get an "If you liked Metroid, you'll love this!" vibe from Axiom Verge. Instead I found an artist

Ha, good call GL.

We got an advance copy (although not TOO advance), and Gerardi's just being thorough on a very dense game.

Indeed, Malkovich Malkovich, the forum idea comes up from time to time—and I'm sure we'll discuss it again. We usually conclude that the technical resources and personnel we'd have to dedicate would be better applied to other projects. But like I said, I'm sure we'll bring it up again in the future.

The Bloodborne review is coming — Matt Gerardi has been playing it in every spare moment for the past couple weeks! We'll have a review this week (probably tomorrow).

I hesitate at this point to call it a "retro" look. 2-D bitmap art is just another style among many that developers use, and it has aesthetic value and appeal beyond mere homage. I don't blame you at all for being tired of it, especially since it IS so often employed for lazy nostalgia. But not always.

Yeah, I gather he spent half a decade on this project. It shows, too.

Thank you, Prizes, that's very kind of you. My favorite pricing games, in no particular order:

The Fiesta is such a shitty car that my brain can't remember that it exists. I've fixed this, though. Thank you (and the other folks) for the correction, and apologies for the confusion!

That's a good question. I believe the push for gender balance more about ensuring that there's a broad base of blood donors across all demographics, to prevent blood donation from becoming a habit that's limited to one segment of society. So it's not so much about the blood itself.

Well, you were pretty close.

Ha! I don't have direct experience with this, aside from wishing Instagram had a similar policy, as I have to use @realjohnteti over there. There's another John Teti who uploaded a picture of his keyboard 18 months ago and has not been heard from since. For an unknown reason.
