It does! Or something like that. I’m curious what the actual execution of these “paintings” actually entails. Are they simply giant printouts of stylized photographs of these people that he is then going over with various magic markers and paints, outlining some of their features, etc.? Because that’s what it looks

I’m not entirely sure how or why an article would be published about a new statue being unveiled without an actual picture of it, but here’s the statue in question:

I’m not sure if you took me out of the greys, I honestly just don’t know how any of this works to be honest. If you did, thank you kind stranger!

And ya, Chicago is a giant sprawl like almost any other large metroplex in the US, and it certainly sprawls right across the border into Indiana for many miles. You can drive

Indiana is not 45 minutes away from Chicago. East Chicago is literally in Indiana. And in Indiana, you can buy an AR-15 at a yard sale if you so desire (truth, not hype). Source: almost lifelong (although not willingly) Hoosier, who just grimaces every time some idiot whatabouts Chicago in the gun debates.

Also, can

Damn. That was impressive. Thank you!

Truth. I run into the same problem all the time where it’s a country or culture I’m not intimately familiar with.

How in the world are you listing a Prius as a car with a bad reputation? Solidly reliable with obviously ugly duckling looks but great mileage. Sure, some of it’s earliest adopters got reputations for being smug idiots, but not the car itself. This is a bit of a reach.

These writers. Sheesh. Also, I’m pretty sure “dopest cars on craigslist” would preclude motorcycles, but then who am I to question. I’m in the greys.

Incorrect (sort of). Your premise, and his, would be falsely based on there being a finite amount of players who have knowledge of most games available to them. That’s clearly not how it works. There is a virtually endless supply of new gamers coming on line, and old gamers who never heard of Factorio, or old gamers

This is the correct take. The secret in the PC industry is that hardware performance long ago got pretty damn good, so a five year old gaming rig with a mediocre GPU can play just about anything at 1080P at very high quality settings.

That’s not how this works. The reason they get away with less RAM is because of platform optimization. RAM being soldered vs. seated has little to no bearing on it’s overall performance, not does it’s physical proximity for the most part.

Who cares? Are you racing it or something? Smaller “economy” cars used to have 0-60 times in the upper teens. I’ll take a 9s 0-60 time all day long with the kind of gas you’re saving with a vehicle like this.

I was thinking the same thing. He’s a fairly good looking guy in the Midwestern sense, but I don’t think I’d refer to him in that way either. And honestly, he’s kinda spindly.

So, what’s going on here. Why are you guys now hosting videos that stop playing if you cursor over to another window or tab, or basically anywhere outside of the video window? That’s incredibly annoying, and I can’t understand it’s purpose other than to try to capture the viewer’s attention in some way? Even though I

Now playing

I could be wrong here (and I really hate this dude), but I think his response is trying to double down by actually quoting Greta the Great (she’s pretty cool) from that speech she gave where she got pretty worked up and said those exact words in disgust at the climate change deniers.

Also, can I please be removed from

Ugh, that’s just the worst. If true, I think they’re missing the point of the insult.

Agreed. I think it’s a matter of managing expectations and your outlook on the world and the way you exist in it. Since leaving the corporate grind and managing my own little IT consulting company, I’m miles happier than ever but I don’t work on a beach for half an hour a day.

I mean this with utmost sincerity: are you aware of what this website is? That’s such an odd question. Similar to running over to Gizmodo and asking an author why they’re obsessed with technology or something.

I thought I would be the first old to make the usual post about not knowing who ANY of these people are. Seriously, I had to Google virtually every single person mentioned, all the way down to the supporting cast. Not a single name stood out as someone I remotely have heard of. A weird thing about celebrity gossip

Love this story, excellent job! I’m more curious though about the cost of the battery pack at the “buy it now” price. I think I’m just ignorant as to what these things cost, but I assumed a full on battery pack for an EV would be less than $10K. These appear to be $15-20K, is that correct? Is that a competitive price?
